Our first game of interest would be the LA Clippers vs the Denver Nuggets; both squads are fighting for playoff positioning. The Nuggets are only 1.5 games back from the Clippers for the 2nd seed, which means they should come out fired up. From the looks of things, both teams should have mainly their normal starting lineups ready to roll. Now, the Clippers have dropped 3 of the last 4 games against Denver and the games weren't even close. However, the Clippers handled the Nuggets with ease in their last matchup, winning by 29 points in February. Obviously, circumstances have changed and bubble play has hit with many surprises. Nonetheless, we Denver breathing down their necks, we full expect Leonard and the Clippers to handle business and treat this like a playoff game.
Putting money on OKC has not treated us very well as of late. However, they are getting 3 points against a beatable Miami team. OKC should have Schroder back, eventually; he is back with the team, but must quarantine for a bit before he returns to play. That will be a huge boost for Chris Paul and a relief to his back and shoulders. So, the Thunder will be rocking the same starting 5 as they have been using. OKC have lost 2 straight to the heat, but won 6 games straight before that, we do understand the teams have changed significantly since 2016. The Heat won by 9 and 7 points in their last 2 wins against the Thunder. Therefore, the games have been in reach for OKC and with a better looking starting 5 then the last few games, they should be ready to fight for a win, especially getting plus points.

The Stanley Cup Playoffs have arrived! If you missed game 1 of Columbus vs Tampa Bay, well you saved about 92 hours of your life. The game went on for an eternity and was eventually ended by the Lightning. Just to give you some perspective; Seth Jones played over 61 minutes and Korpisalo made 85 saves on 88 shots. If they did not get every fired up around the NHL, we don't know what would.
So, to today's games, we start off with arguably the hottest team in the NHL; the Flyers. Philadelphia won the 1st seed through amazing round robin play. Elliot and Hart were both lights out and the young guns showed tremendous energy and poise. Montreal shocked the Penguins and took them down in 4 games with stellar defense and goaltending. So, we have the 1 seed vs the 12 seed in this matchup. We are getting plus odds to take the Flyers in regulation, we had to jump all over that play. Carter Hart looks like a young Carey Price and the Flyers are crushing competition without their big names (Giroux, Hayes, Couturier, etc) even carrying the load. The likes of Laughton, Myers, and Konecny have looked like veterans on the rink. Montreal, while they have solid defense and one of the best goalies in the league, lack firepower. We believe the energy and lockdown defense of Philly can really help them jump pit to an early lead and then focus on defense to stifle Montreal's lack of offensive talent.
Our second game of interest and our last analysis for the day, would be the Blues vs the the Canucks. Once again, we are getting plus odds to take the Blues in regulation and we were all about that wager. Yes, we loved Vancouver in that last series, but we believe they have met their match with the Blues. St. Louis just did this last year, they are experienced, big, skilled, and (according to our model) have one of, if not the best, goalie duos in the league. These two teams have been tight in recent history with the Blues losing 3 of 5 with 2 games decided in shootouts and 1 game decided in overtime. Honestly, we will not be overly surprised if Canucks pull out a W, but we will take the seasoned veterans and goaltending of the Blues.
