Phull Plate Presents: Rescued From the Pound + Triple A's Triple Play Parlay - NFL Week 10

  2. 2.0% wager on CHI Moneyline @ +135

So, with the shellacking we took the last two weeks we decided to look back and try to find some bettable trends. This is what we found:

Each week there are plenty of moneyline underdogs for bettors to choose from, some more attractive than others. When our model predicted a dog on the betting lines to actually be better than the favorite by half a point or more, we saw a plethora of instances of the dog winning out right. If we had even betting that all season, we would have been crushing it since all of these bets would have been at plus odds. Therefore, we are going into week 10 with a new strategy that is a little uncommon for most bettors and their bottom line. That is why we present to you two underdog picks that we feel can and will win outright.

First up, we have the Seattle Seahawks, we all know about the potency of Wilson, Metcalf, Lockett, and the entire offense. The biggest question is their defense and whether or not they can hold up against a very creative Rams offense. The Seattle defense ranks near the bottom in most of all the important categories and just have been atrocious this season. However, it is a division game amongst two teams with serious Superbowl aspirations, we expect both defenses to come up playing tough and rough. We have Russell pulling this one out by a slim margin.

The other dog we picked just happens to be QB'd by king underdog himself, Nick Foles. The Bears sit at 5-4 with a struggling offense that just got their playcalling duties moved from Nagy to the OC. We will see if that shakes things up and opens some new opportunities for Foles to thrive. This is yet another divisional matchup where the Vikings have seemed to catch fire relying on Dalvin Cook to lead their team much like he is leading the entire NFL in scoring. Yes, Cook is amazing and looks like the best RB in the NFL, but this divison matchup is one of the nastier and more competitive matchups we season every season. The Bears just happen to have a very solid run D that will most likely gameplan to make Cousins the one that beats them. For anyone that knows the members of Phull Plate, we would never trust Cousins to win a game on his own. Everyone is buying in on Dalvin, but we will sell high and by low on the Bears on this matchup that should be tighter than most expect. Also, be sure to check out our parlay this week. Yes, you will notice the Bill's are a three point dog!
