Two Bets - 1 NHL, 1 NBA - You Don't Have to Play Every Game

  1. 2.0% wager on Avalanche moneyline @ -177 odds

  2. 1.0% wager Lakers -7.5 @ -110 odds

We said this before, the Avs look like the best team in the NHL playoffs. They are now matched up against the Dallas Stars who struggled against the Calgary Flames. Based on the experience from round one, the Avs should be able to sweep the Stars with no issue. The only thing that is worrisome, would be the offensive power or the Stars. Game one should be a feeling out match and the Avs depth will be able to overrun Dallas no problem.

The Lakers found the gameplan in game two against the Trail Blazers. Injure Dame and then proceed to the series win....kidding. Yes, Lillard is hurt, but the Lakers gameplan with the in-the-paint play and relying on physicality down low, really paid off. We think the Lakers will dominate the rest of the series with Dame hurt. LeBron/AD found their stride and look somewhat back to form and dominance. We do not want to go overboard on one game, but they should be able to take this series, even on poor play on Laker standards.
